Featured in 2026
Sasha Chudo, known as the “Queen of Memes", is a multidisciplinary artist working across physical, digital, and AI-based media. She began her career as a traditional artist and illustrator in Web2, focusing on character design, before transitioning to a full-time Web3 practice. Active in crypto art since 2021, her work draws deeply from internet culture, meme iconography, and crypto-native belief systems. Now based in Georgia, Chudo has developed her “Pep art", a body of work that examines how symbols circulate, accumulate meaning, and evolve into shared cultural structures.
At the centre of her practice is a recurring figure — Pepe — interpreted across graphic forms, pixel-based compositions, and works ranging from cartoonish to sculptural. Pieces such as Consensus Failed, Proof of Absence, and Scale of Belief articulate a sustained inquiry into systems of belief and the narratives that sustain them. Subtle, often concealed details embedded within the works reward extended viewing, reinforcing the idea that meaning unfolds over time rather than at first glance. Alongside her artistic practice, Chudo is active as a curator and organiser, notably through her role in Pepe in Bali (Superlative, 2024). Exhibited internationally in more than 50 countries and held in prominent collections, her work has established a strong and expanding presence across Tezos, Ethereum, and Ordinals.
